250-participant-gathering marked the launch of the Safer Internet Day activities in Armenia this year. Parents, school teachers and NGO representatives gathered at the Yerevan School after Chekhov located in the heart of Armenian capital to discuss children's on-line behaviour and related risks.

This is the second year Armenia celebrates the Safer Internet Day, attracting a growing interest among different  strata of the population.

Media Education Center launched a public opinion poll to reveal the attitudes of parents and teachers (250 respondents) to cyber security, media literacy and internet accesibility issues.

A new Internet Safety Guide for Teachers, Parents and Children was produced in the frame of the Safer Internet Day 2010 by Media Education Center.
