Winners of Safer Internet Armenia 2013 best open lesson competition announced
April 18, 2013. Safer Internet Armenian Committee announced the winners of the best open lesson competition in frames of the Safer Internet Armenia 2013 project:
Marianna Tovmasyan – Yerevan Secondary School No. 161 after Garegin Njdeh,
Ani Torosyan - Vanadzor Branch of the European College of Armenia,
Anahit Melkoumyan – Yerevan High School No. 198,
Lernuhi Meliqyan – Berd High School of the Tavush region,
Armine Azatyan - Koghb Secondary School No. 1 of the Tavush region,
Kristine Mkhitaryan - Yeghegnadzor High School,
Alvard Saroyan, Yerevan Secondary School No. 100,
Anahit Baghdasaryan – Vanadzor Secondary School No. 24 after G. Chaush,
Nune Galstyan – Yerevan Secondary School No. 129,
Asya Gasparyan - Maisyan Secondary School of the Armavir region.
Media Education Center, as part of the European NGO Alliance for Child Safety On-line (eNACSO), took part in the 1st Children’s Forum at ICANN April 6-12, 2013 in China. Students of the Yerevan-based Anania Shirakatsy Lyceum, recognized the best school in frames of Safer Internet Armenia 2012 Program, received the opportunity to participate in the Children’s Forum in Beijing. Armenian delegates, Eva Musaelyan, Arman Tsirunyan and Lily Saroyan presented their ideas and opinions about Internet Governance related topics and Internet safety activities in Armenia. Children discussed and formulated some points of child protection policy, that should be included in child-related new gTLDs, addressed the ICANN public with the Declaration, spoke to the ICANN president.
